What happens if a 16 year old gets caught robbing a house, selling weed, and has a gun?

and he gets caught.. does he go to jail?what charges will he have? will his record get cleared when hes 18?first offence but he gets caught for all these things at once. detailed answers please =D

    They are getting a lot stricter w/young teens these days and you need to hope that he does get charged as a minor….then yes…his minor history will not be on his adult record….

    The Virginia Code provides that 16-year-olds who are charged with violent felonies may be treated just as if they were 18 or older and "tried as adults." That includes being housed in adult jail while awaiting trial, being tried in adult court under adult rules, being sentenced to adult jail if they are found guilty, receiving adult probation / parole, being placed in the adult sex offender registry (if appropriate), and receiving adult felony conviction(s) on their records. Why: because burglary of a dwelling is a violent felony.
