Although, some types of furniture make rooms look smaller. For example, if you have a king bed in a small bedroom, that room will look smaller.

Take out oversized items.

I would leave furniture in the house so there isnt dead space. when a buyer comes in the house they want to see how they could utilize that space if they were to live there. You want them to remember the room and if there is dead space they wont remember what the square footage is and would be less likely to purchase.

I suggest you leave some so people can get a better idea of the size room.It helps to have furniture so you literally see what the furniture looks like.I once rented a house that looked big, till I got my furniture in there. Then I was so cramped.I learned how to visualize better because of that experience, but not everyone can do that.If you leave stuff there it helps people to visualize their stuff in place.Good luck...Congratulations

Leave some furniture behind until closing. A home always shows better with furniture.

If your selling your house it helps to have furniture in there if it looks good because people like to get a sense of the space and how it could look. There are actually people who get paid to live in huge houses that are being sold with their furniture so that buyers will like it better. Talk to your Realtor.

Take the stuff that you will keep. Leave the other stuff.
That way there is no confusion between the seller and the buyer.
House as is, where is, with everything in it is X.
PERIOD.
Don't add to confusions, there is no profit in that.

Take what you want to your husband's house and get rid of the rest. Empty rooms look bigger and women (I hate to be sexist) like to be able to visualize their furniture in the new home. It's a buyers' market out there right now so I'm sure you won't have any trouble selling your house if your asking a reasonable price. Like you said you've already shown it 10 times in 10 days. It will sell faster than you think.

People with children want to be moved in before school starts and any real estate lawyer knows it takes about 45-60 days from contract to closing. So don't sweat the small stuff; enjoy your upcoming wedding and the honeymoon. Best Wishes.
