first remove everything thats dead,maybe add some colorful hanging baskets,paint the front door or trim to distract the buyers.

Get rid of all dead stuff, resod the yard. Put some seasonal color where the dead stuff was to perk things up. That will give you good curb appeal.

Take a picture of your house and upload to a free landscape visualizer site. This should give you some ideas on what you can do to spruce up your front yard within a certain budget.
