Humans have a natural instinct to sabotage our own work and this is true in the for sale by owner game also. Here are some tips on how to be successful at selling your house.

Now is the time when negative individuals are sure to come to you with horror stories about themselves or people they know whose sale by owner attempts were a disaster. Equally, no matter how cute they are, don’t expect a buyer to fall in love with your kids. Equally the same as animals, many people make not like children or wish to be in their company. I know it’s hard to believe, but it’s true. Remove your children’s photographs and their lovely artwork from the fridge. Thoroughly clean your children’s rooms and leave them neat and tidy.

The key to sell your own home is to keep your buyers interested in your home and nothing else. If they are worried that a big dog is going to jump on them at any time or your 2 year old is going to “poo-poo” in the middle of the room, they will want to get out as quickly as possible!
